Top 7 Songs for Working Through a Bad Mood

Played in the following order, these songs are (almost) guaranteed to relieve a crappy mood. It worked for me today.

7) Stranglehold by Ted Nugent
6) Stranglehold by Ted Nugent (yeah, you have to play it twice in a row... at 120 decibels)
5) Sleep to Dream by Fiona Apple
4) Shadow Boxer by Fiona Apple
3) There She Goes by The La's
2) Snow on the Sahara by Anggun
1) Hit Me Baby One More Time by Britney Spears

Yeah, some of these are indeed embarrassing picks. I suggest taking a long-ish drive on the freeway and blasting the radio. I didn't say they were the coolest songs in the world. But it is the perfect progression to go from "Bite Me" to "Ahhhh...."

Considering you are a little *cough* younger than I, I'm not familiar with most of the stuff you listed but do not doubt your credibility (especially since you started with Ted Nugent x2 - right on).

May I suggest tunes by Squeeze ("Goodbye Girl" especially) and The Smithereens (I really love "Strangers When We Meet" but it's a little sad) as well as Rick Springfield's "Love is Alright" (which I blare like an aging idiot but can't help myself) and anything from Fountains of Wayne.

I know you didn't ask for input specifically, but with comments on I can't help myself. Here's to having bad moods so we can work through them with good music!
